You will be working with "real" stoneware clays and glazes. It is the same materials we use in the production of our high-fired stoneware. Everything you make will be food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. All pottery is subject to cracking, blistering and glaze running which make your piece unfunctional due to the firing process. We do everything we can to prevent defects but is part of the pottery experience.
Six week adult pottery classes range in size from 4 -10 people. Class may be canceled last minute due to low enrollment. Payment is required at the time of sign-up to secure a spot in the class.
