In this pottery class, you’ll learn the art of altered forms as we create beautifully crafted toad houses.
We recommend that you have at least one pottery wheel class before taking this class.
We’ll start by shaping a bowl on the pottery wheel, carefully cutting out an entrance for your amphibian guests, and adding decorative details to personalize your piece. To bring your creation to life, we’ll use vibrant colored slips for a unique and artistic finish.
Once dried, your toad house will go through a bisque firing before being dipped in a clear glaze to enhance and brighten the colors. The final result? A durable, one-of-a-kind toad abode that blends seamlessly into your garden while providing a cozy retreat for its tiny inhabitants.
Join us for this creative and rewarding pottery experience—perfect for nature lovers, garden enthusiasts, and anyone eager to explore the magic of clay!
